-
The mixer is running but nothing is happening. Is it broken?
This is normal. Butter making takes time.
At first the cream becomes whipped cream, then separates into butter and buttermilk.
Please continue churning until separation happens.
-
Can I use milk instead of heavy cream?
No. Butter can only be made from heavy cream with high fat content. Butter will only form when using heavy whipping cream with at least 35% fat.
Milk does not contain enough fat to form butter.
-
How much cream can I put in the jar?
We recommend filling the jar to no more than 3/4 of its capacity.
Overfilling may prevent proper churning.
-
Why is the butter not forming even after long churning?
Make sure the cream is left at room temperature for a while before use.
Butter typically forms within 5–15 minutes, depending on the cream quality. For optimal results, use natural heavy cream without stabilizers or added ingredients.
